FAQ

Questions We
Get Asked Most

Everything you need to know before reaching out. Can't find your answer? Just ask us directly — we respond within 2 hours every day of the week.

How far in advance should I book a Himalayan package?
For peak season (October–December and March–May), we recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance, especially for North Sikkim and Bhutan packages where permits are required and slots are genuinely limited. Off-season packages can often be arranged within 2 weeks. That said, if you have a specific date in mind, send us a message and we'll tell you exactly what's available right now.
What permits do I need for North Sikkim and how do you arrange them?
North Sikkim requires an Inner Line Permit (ILP) and a Protected Area Permit (PAP). Gurudongmar Lake requires an additional RAP. We handle all permit applications on your behalf — you just need to provide passport/Aadhaar photos and copies at the time of booking. Permits are typically processed within 2–3 working days. Indian nationals can obtain permits easily; foreign nationals require slightly more lead time.
Can I completely customize a package — duration, hotels, activities?
Absolutely — every single package we create is customizable. You can choose your dates, pick specific hotels or homestays, add or remove activities, change the duration, and mix destinations across Sikkim, Darjeeling, Bhutan and the Dooars in a single itinerary. Our "Custom Trip" enquiry type is specifically designed for this. Share your rough idea and we'll build a detailed proposal within 24 hours, completely free.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations more than 30 days before departure: full refund minus processing fees. 15–30 days before: 50% refund. Less than 15 days: refund depends on the specific hotel and transport policies booked. For force majeure events (natural disasters, road closures, political situations), we always offer full rescheduling at no cost. We recommend travel insurance for international packages like Bhutan.
Do you offer payment in installments?
Yes. Secure your booking with just 20% upfront and pay the balance in easy installments leading up to your travel date. We accept UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit cards and EMI options. For group bookings, special payment schedules can be arranged. Contact us to discuss what works best for your group.
Is there 24/7 support during the trip itself?
Yes — every package includes a dedicated WhatsApp support line that is active throughout your trip. You'll also have the direct number of your local guide and our operations team in Siliguri. We have handled everything from medical emergencies at altitude to last-minute hotel changes caused by landslides — so no matter what the Himalayas throw at you, we're one message away.
